The Baroness Trish Morris of Bolton OBE

Baroness Morris, the first Chancellor of the University of Bolton is President of the National Benevolent Institution and a trustee of The Disability Partnership and The Transformation Trust. She is a school governor and trustee of Bolton School and  co-chair of Women in Public Policy and on the executive committee of the Association of Governing Bodies of Independent Schools. Baroness Morris was a member of the Advisory Committee to the Abbot of Ampleforth Abbey from 1998 to 2004, served as deputy chairman of the Salford Royal hospital NHS foundation trust, and as a director of Bolton Lads and Girls Club and was a member of the Conservative Party’s Social Work Commission. She joined the Board of Trustees of UNICEF UK in 2007. She succeeded Lord Patten as President of Medical Aid for Palestinians after he had resigned the post in June 2011 upon becoming Chairman of the BBC Trust.

December 2019, Baroness Trish became the Patron of #SheInspires. A true embodiment of #SheInspires ethos, her  long list of accomplishments is matched only by her true humility. We are very homoured and look forward to her guidance.
